With an impressive body of work that spans over 20 years in show business as a radio DJ, actress, TV presenter, recording artiste, singer and dancer, that had humble beginnings as an ACSM-certified fitness instructor, Cheryl Miles is one of the most versatile media personalities in Singapore.
At the end of August 2023, she left behind a 16-year radio career for the entrepreneurial life. She started the brand “The Smitten Collection by Cheryl Miles” featuring her series of cookbooks (and sometimes, that of other local cookbook authors) and a candle range made from an all natural proprietary blend of beeswax and coconut wax.
She established her company Miles Nixon Media in 2021 to manage her work as an emcee, voice-over talent, cookbook author and recipe developer. In 2024, she plans to expand her offerings to include media consultancy, coaching and event planning services.
Her self-published cookbook “Smitten in the Kitchen” can be found at bookstores, Kinokuniya Singapore, Epigram Books, Amazon (including international delivery!), select shops and right here, at her e-shop.
With her varied experience and expertise in media, script writing, stage presence, presenting to camera and on radio, Cheryl hopes to help other small business owners, like herself, and corporate professionals in the areas of public speaking, content creation, marketing and branding.
Not one to rest on her laurels, Cheryl is currently studying to be a certified nutrition coach and continues to write, create new recipes and blog in her free time.
