Cheryl carved a niche for herself as a cookbook author after launching her self-published cookbook, “Smitten in the Kitchen, 60 Recipes for Love” in December 2021. During the pandemic, when events came to a standstill, Cheryl switched her focus to voice-over work and on building her business Miles Nixon Media.

After 16 years on-air, Cheryl decided to take the plunge and explore life as a full-time solopreneur and left her long-standing show “Afternoon Tune Up” on SPH Radio’s ONE FM 91.3 at the end of August 2023.

She launched her side hustle, “The Smitten Collection by Cheryl Miles”, in November 2023, featuring a range of luxury candles inspired by themes, recipes and moods from her cookbook series. Made from a proprietary blend of coconut wax and beeswax infused with non-toxic fragrance/essential oils, her candles are ethically-sourced and free from parabens, phthalates and paraffin wax.

RADIO GAGA

A celebrity radio personality since 2008, she last hosted, “Afternoon Tune Up” on ONE FM 91.3 (SPH Radio), 1-4 pm on weekdays, “Rise and Shine”, 8-12noon on Sundays and later “Sundays with Cheryl” at 10am – 2pm, before hanging up her headphones officially on 28 August 2023.

TV PRESENTER & TV ACTRESS

Before her career in radio, Cheryl Miles presented a few lifestyle shows on Channel News Asia. After winning a nationwide search in 2005 for Best TV Presenter (Food Category) on a reality show called “Audition Me”, she hosted “Beauty Past Perfect” and “CEO Epicure” with Lisa Ang.

She dabbled in some acting – both on TV and on stage – and was nominated twice for the Life Theatre Awards in 2006 and 2008.
