Like fine wine, I think I’ve gotten better with age. Haha! I’m a lot more confident despite the extra pounds, greying hair and wrinkles. Probably because I am so much more comfortable with myself after more than two decades in show business. This is an industry that forces you to look inwards, to dig deeper, keep your ego in check and heal from any insecurities. Because if you don’t, it can eat you alive and thrust you further into more self-doubt.
Needless to say, I have learnt so much from my journey as a dancer, singer, actress and TV presenter.
Below is an homage to the girl who got me here. As you know, it all started with winning Talentime 2001, as part of Cherry Chocolate Candy, with my dear friends, Cristal Simon and Claudine Chan.
